Spas are a natural extension of luxury hotels: in the space of just a few years, they have gone from being an extra service to an essential criterion for ever-more demanding and cosmopolitan clients.
Each new spa is a unique creation. Our mission is to offer you a comprehensive, bespoke support package for each stage in your project, from creating the spa’s identity to building and operating it.

Ghislain Waeyaert
Cofounder and Manager of Deep Nature Development
Ghislain Waeyaert has been a major player in various sectors of the cosmetics industry for over 20 years, working with a range of prestigious brands that include Carita, Comfort Zone and Clarins.
He is now a recognised specialist in spa-related businesses following his involvement in the launch of some very prestigious spas, such as the Raffles Paris Spa, the Miraval Spa in Arizona and the Ritz Carlton Toronto Spa.
He joined Deep Nature Development to support the company's expansion. His role enables him to assist spa investors and operators by offering services that cover everything from consultancy to design, management and operational support as well as various business models based on either the Deep Nature Spa concept or those of prestigious beauty brands.

Julien Patty
Cofounder and President of Deep Nature
A trained plastics engineer, Julien Patty worked for Renault before moving to Bouygues Offshore in Australia. A deep attachment to his homeland later brought him back to Chamonix, first as a skiing instructor then as a sports club director from 1997 to 2004. He organised the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup in 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2004.rnIt was during this time that a close friend of his, the owner of Algotherm, suggested that he develop a series of spas for the marine cosmetics brand.

Julien rose to the challenge and quickly made a name for himself by locating his first spa – one of his most superb projects - in Bora Bora, followed by another at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel. This marked the beginning of a constant stream of projects.
To ensure he keeps a cool head, Julian decided to continue living in the mountains and thus set up Deep Nature’s head office in Chamonix.

Nathalie Gaume
Managing Director of the Deep Nature Group
Nathalie Gaume joined the Deep Nature Group in early 2009 after she sold her accounting firm.
She started out as Administrative and Financial Director and was tasked with structuring and organising the various legal entities.
Supporting the company's development, she was appointed Managing Director in 2014.

Jean Le Bouder
Deep Nature Development
Jean Le Bouder joined the Deep Nature Group in 2004 having served as the director of cosmetics brand Algotherm, a role that has given him precious insight into the cosmetics industry.
He covers two roles: he is both the Managing Director of the Deauville by Algotherm thalassotherapy centre and Director of Projects and Development at Deep Nature Development.
He has lent his skills to multiple successes including the I-Spa at the InterContinental Hotel, the Deep Nature Spa at the Arcs 1950 resort, the Deep Nature Spa in Avoriaz and the Deep Nature Spa in Houlgate, to name but a few.
His hands-on approach enables him to optimise the profitability of business operations while respecting aesthetic codes.

Loïc Delafoulhouze
Creative Director
Loïc Delafoulhouze is a graduate of the prestigious Ecole Nationale Supérieur des Arts Décoratifs de Paris and has a communications degree from the Beaux-Arts de Nantes art school.
He started his career in scenography and museum curation in 1991 before moving into the world of retail. As a freelancer, he designed all the branding for Nickel in 1996 before joining Polo Ralph Lauren as an interior designer in 1997. He later went on to become the company’s in-store concessions manager for European department stores.
In 1999, he created Western Design, a company specialising in commercial architecture, which secured contracts with Deep Nature, Center Parcs, Cinq Mondes and many others.rnIn 2012, Western Design merged with Lonsdale to become Lonsdale Western, with Loïc staying on as Creative Director.
Loïc Delafoulhouze has guided the design phases for the majority of Deep Nature’s projects in France and abroad.

Fanny Texier
Sales & Marketing Director
After completing an MBA in marketing and communications, Fanny Texier started her career at an advertising agency before being recruited by the Pierre et Vacances Group as Product Manager in the Holiday Villages division.
Her determination and skills enabled her to progress to Marketing Department Manager for the Center Parcs brand. After five years at Europe’s leading nature tourism group, this martial arts loving Parisian joined Deep Nature in 2015.
She brings all her energy, expertise and originality to her role as Sales and Marketing Director. Her experience has shaped her into a fine strategist and genuine team leader in her field.

Cécile Troude
Training & Quality Director
Raised in Paris but now converted to the Chamonix way of life, Cécile Troude has placed beauty and wellbeing at the centre of her life and career.
She started out as an independent beautician and was involved in creating a spa in Chamonix, giving her plenty of hands-on experience before she joined the Deep Nature Group in 2008, where she manages 17 spas in the Mont Blanc region.
Her 26 years' experience in the beauty industry together with her managerial skills, dynamism and enthusiasm helped her to develop Deep Nature’s training and quality division in 2015, which she now directs.
